Full-time Junior Web Developer position opening up in Langley BC. Rook Interactive is a small, growing company specializing in the development of industry-specific e-commerce systems. Our closely knit team is looking for a good fit that isn't afraid to work hard as well as have some fun.
Requirements:
- Must be a self-motivated learner.
- Proficiency with Photoshop and hand-coding CSS, XHTML and Javascript for cross platform and browsers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must submit at least 3 examples of work.
Responsibilities:
- Work with design team to implement designs and perform usability testing.
- Integrate designs with development team.
- Work with production team to streamline website deployment.
Assets:
- Ajax/Dojo/Scriptaculus/YUI Experience
- Experience working/deploying on Linux Systems.
- Fusebox, PHP, interactive web applications.
- Sense of humor
